Rejuvenating Face Mask

Rejuvenating Face mask

As a follow on from last weeks post No More Dirty Looks, here is a recipe for a rejuvenating face mask. It is so simple to make and does wonders for your skin – without the need for harsh chemicals, alcohol or synthetic fragrances.

Applying a face mask once a week will give your skin a boost. Wet masks will infuse active ingredients into your skin to hydrate, sooth, calm and heal.

Rejuvenating Face Mask

  • 2 Tablespoons green tea – cooled
  • 1 Tablespoon hibiscus tea – cooled
  • 2 teaspoons Rose Water
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice (omit for sensitive skin and add more Rose Water)
  • 1-2 teaspoons citrus pectin

  • Mix green tea, hibiscus tea, rose water and lemon juice together in a bowl.
  • Slowly whisk in the citrus pectin and stir constantly until a gel forms.

  • Apply to clean, moist skin. Leave on for 15 minutes then rise off well with tepid water.

Tip: This mask will only keep for one day in the fridge. Make in batches and freeze into ice cube trays, then you can pop out one cube and use as needed.

Call to action: Post this recipe to your Facebook page and share the love.
