Love chocolate?

Well these dairy-free and gluten-free chocolates are a healthier version, simple to make, and are a great gift for yourself or a loved one.

Cacao is chocolate in its raw form. Raw Cacao is powder is packed with antioxidants, calcium and potassium. In fact, raw cacao contains three times more antioxidants than green tea. Cacao powder is preservative free and it is not highly processed which is why it is much healthier for you then low-grade chocolate which has been highly processed and had sugar and preservatives added to it.

Love Chocolates


  • 100g cacao butter
  • 4-6 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 3 tablespoons rice malt syrup
  • pince salt


  1. Gently melt cacao butter in a bowl over a pan of water on a low heat.
  2. Once melted, add cacao power, rice malt syrup and salt. Mix well with a metal balloon whisk.
  3. Pour into silicone heart-shaped moulds or ice cube trays.
  4. Set for 15 minutes in the freezer or for 2 hours in the fridge. Once set remove from moulds and store in airtight container.
  5. These chocolates will keep for four days in the fridge or ten days in the freezer.

Time Saver Tip

You can also add nut such as roasted hazelnuts or macadamias to your moulds before you the add the chocolate mixture. Or you can change the flavour by adding a shot of coffee (cooled) or fresh orange juice and zest.
