Christmas Bliss Balls

As the party season is in full swing, there is nothing like giving the party host a little Christmas gift, handcrafted with love.

These yummy and simple Christmas truffles are quick and easy to make and look so very festive wrapped in cellophane and ribbons.

Be sure to set a few of these little gems aside for yourself!

Christmas Truffles Recipe

Makes about 15 balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pips removed
  • 1/3 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1/3 cup cashew nuts
  • 1/3 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/3 cup raw organic cacao powder
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • extra shredded coconut to roll the balls in
  • water as needed

Method

  • Place nuts and shredded coconut in food processor and blitz into chunky pieces.
  • Add dates, cacao powder, ground cinnamon and coconut oil. Process until well combined and the mixture forms a cookie dough consistency. Add some water if it is too sticky.
  • You may need to stop and scrape down the sides before processing again.
  • Roll into bite size balls then roll in extra coconut.
  • Place in the fridge to set for a few hours. Then enjoy.

Time saver tip:

These Bliss Balls will keep for about one week in the fridge.

Feel free to change the types of nuts you use or swap them for seeds such as pumpkin seeds.
