Guilt-free Easter Menu Sorted!

With the Easter long weekend upon us, I have put together my guilt-free Easter feast menu for you – nibbles, entree, main, dessert and chocolates. Easy to prepare and sure to impress your family and friends.


A mezze plate of dips: always a crowd pleaser and they can be prepared the day before – Capsicum Cashew Dip and Basil Pesto. I like to serve mine with rice crackers and crudités.

Fresh Spring Rolls: these finger food fresh spring rolls are truly moorish. You can prepare the dipping sauce a day or so before hand. Then on the morning, you can cut up your filling and store them covered in the fridge until assembly about 30 minutes before you want to serve them.

Moroccan Lamb: great when serving a large number of guests, filling and hearty. You can prepare this dish a few days in advance and then just gently reheat. Serve with rice infused with pine nuts and sultans. Feel free to add papadums or flat bread on side. I like to use the tagine dish that we bought on holidays in Morocco last year.

Bliss Ice Cream: with so much chocolate on offer during Easter, it is nice to offer a choc-free treat for dessert. This homemade ice cream tastes wickedly indulgent but is relatively guilt free.

Chocolates: these sugar-free chocolates are a perfect way to end your meal. Accompanied with a tea or coffee or a little glass of port!
