This salmon pate is a regular on my party menu list, either as an entree or as part of a mezze share board. This recipe is healthy for your heart and your brain with a winning nutrition combination of salmon and gelatine.

Salmon is one of my favourite types of fish. Salmon is nutrient dense and an excellent source of high-quality protein, is a good source of potassium, selenium and vitamin B12, plus it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Gelatin contains collagen, which is one of the materials that makes up cartilage and bone. This is why gelatin might helpful for strengthening hair and nails as well as assisting with joint conditions and sports related injuries.

Well these dairy-free and gluten-free chocolates are a healthier version, simple to make, and are a great gift for yourself or a loved one.

Cacao is chocolate in its raw form. Raw Cacao is powder is packed with antioxidants, calcium and potassium. In fact, raw cacao contains three times more antioxidants than green tea. Cacao powder is preservative free and it is not highly processed which is why it is much healthier for you then low-grade chocolate which has been highly processed and had sugar and preservatives added to it.

It snow here again this week in England – super exciting for an Aussie living aboard. And with the snow came the cold weather and my desire for a hearty and warming soup for lunch.

Today’s soup was inspired from our recent trip to Lucca city in Italy. We had lunch in the one of the city’s piazzas at this little restaurant and they served us a hearty lentil soup.
